What makes Baker Concepts different?
Our designers are dedicated and experienced. Many of our competitors outsource their graphic design work to inexperienced freelance designers. Our designers are highly skilled experts you can count on to deliver the desired results.
We provide phone support. Many of our competitors do not provide phone support. Your assigned project manager will be available to answer any questions related to your project. Standard phone support is included with your design package. Additional phone support is billed at 58¢/min.

How long does the design process take?
Our design process can vary, but it’s simple. For example, most clients can see a finished logo design within 3-5 business days. Web design can take anywhere from a few weeks to 6 months. Once you place your order, you will be asked some detailed questions about your business (or yourself) that will assist us in developing your initial design concepts.
What does the logo design package include?
Our logo design packages include 1-3 original design drafts or comps based on your initial ideas and delivered within 1-4 business days. Upon receipt of the comps, you respond with revisions you would like to see made to the initial designs. This may include graphic image changes, font changes, or color changes. We respond with new comps bearing the changes you suggested. This process continues until you are happy with the final result (We DO NOT place limits on revisions or colors. Most designers charge additional fees for these services).
There will be two versions of the final logo: full color and black/Greyscale for trade-marking and printing. Final delivery of your logo is provided in the format(s) of your choice: AI or EPS (Adobe Illustrator vector source file), PDF (Adobe Acrobat file), PSD (Adobe Photoshop file), TIF (High resolution raster file), JPG (High and low resolution raster file), BMP (Raster file), and GIF (Raster file). We will provide everything you need for web, print, and signage. The files can be e-mailed to you or downloaded from the Share File account.
We will archive your logo for 1 year should you require us to make future changes (more storage time for up to 50 files is $30/year). However, your logo is yours to do with as you please, as you retain all rights and have full ownership. We provide continued service after the sale such as helping you decide which files to use for your projects. We can also provide the font type(s) used in your logo for an additional fee.
What do the web design packages include?
What our web design packages include depends upon your package selection (View Packages »). Yearly hosting incurs additional fees, is dependant upon the size and needs of your website, and includes Site Hosting, Domain Registration, E-mail accounts, etc. We require that you pay 50% up front and the balance upon completion of your website unless alternate arrangements are made.
1 year of Standard Maintenance is included in your web design package. After the first year, standard maintenance fees can be payed on an "as-needed" basis ($35/hour), or regularly scheduled payments of $24/month in 3, 6, or 12 month increments. Advanced maintenance requirements that extend beyond basic site maintenance such as page overhauls, additions, and design changes are billed at a rate of $55/ hour (most projects are completed in 1-2 hours).
What's the turn-around time for websites?
We can only work as fast as a client allows us; turn-around time is client dependent. If required content is provided sooner, initial and on-going instructions are clear, and requested revisions are reasonable, then turn-around time is usually very quick. On the other hand it could drastically increase due to delayed mockup approvals, back and forth change requests, etc. 95% of our customers have experienced a great turn around time.
Will I receive a discount on my website if I already have a logo?
The costs of our web packages remain the same, regardless of whether or not you need a logo, because the logos are actually provided free of charge as an incentive to those who need one. Each website package price only includes the time involved in developing the site.
What is a content page?
A content page is any non-product, informational page that you wish to have included in your Website. Common examples are an About Us page, Contact Us page, Services page, FAQs page, or perhaps a Site Map or Directions page. Your designer will help include your written content provided through attractive presentation.
Do you use stock images when I cannot find my own?
Yes. We have a library of stock imagery that we can use throughout your design to depict your business. However, our library is limited and specific image requests may require the purchase of a third-party image. Please ask your designer about what images we can provide.
Will I be able to edit my site once you have published it?
Yes and No. For the most part, this service is available to you and included in your standard maintenance fees. We will be responsible for making any and all adjustments necessary, as knowledge of HTML and a graphics program is required to edit areas of your design. However, you may purchase a CMS (content management system) for your website that will enable you to make content changes yourself (View CMS Package Pricing »). Please contact us for further details.
Do you do Flash, drop-down menus, or rollover images?
Yes we do. Advanced design features are reserved for our Package Plus Design Solution. Please discuss your specific needs with your project manager.
What is your Express Service?
Our Express Service provides clients with an option to receive the same exceptional quality service at a faster turn-around time. We normally require 1 to several days per revision round, depending upon the complexity of the requested revision, contents, instructions, response time and client input, etc. However, we understand that sometimes a faster turn-around is required to meet certain deadlines or events. For an additional fee on any package and add-ons, we offer a guaranteed express service with no loss in quality or creativity. However, this service is based on certain terms and conditions including but not limited to the fact that we cannot deliver the express service if multiple rounds of revisions are requested and turn-around time starts only after we get all the required final contents, pictures, instructions, etc.
What is your Package Plus Design Solution?
Our Package Plus Design Solution includes everything you need and more for a successful website. Added time, additional revisions, advanced features, and more help make this investment worthwhile for a new business or a business improving their image.
